Client Confidentiality & Privacy
Confidentiality in Therapy
All psychotherapy sessions are held in confidence and anything you would like to discuss will be respected. The only exception to this is a potential terrorist threat which I am obliged by law to disclose. If I have any other concerns, for example that you might be a threat to either yourself or others then I may involve the relevant services on the basis of disclosable information. However, I would always discuss this with you first before any action was taken. If you have any concerns around confidentiality, I would be happy to discuss this with you further at our initial meeting.
Website Privacy
Your privacy is important to me, and I have chosen to keep this website as simple and respectful of your privacy as possible.
This website does not monitor how you use individual pages, build visitor profiles, or collect personally identifiable information simply because you have visited the site.
If you contact me by email or telephone, I will only use the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry.
To help people who are looking for therapy find this website, I may occasionally use Google Ads. Where this is used, Google may receive limited technical information to help measure whether an advert has resulted in a visit to the website. I have chosen the most privacy-conscious settings available and do not use Google Ads to build profiles of visitors or to track how individuals use the website.
My aim is to offer the same respect for privacy online that I would hope to offer within therapy itself.
